The Museum will be open Thursday through Monday, September 1- 5, during the Commemorative Air Force (CAF)’s AirPower History Tour visit at the Niagara Falls International Airport. Visitors will access the CAF aircraft through the museum!
For this special event, admission is $20.00 which provides you with the rare opportunity to go onto the ramp and see the B-29 Superfortress and B-24 Liberator up close as well as to have a tour of the aircraft cockpits. You will also be able to tour the exhibits in the museum showing Western New York’s rich aviation and aerospace history and current events.
Unless you have purchased a ride on one of the airplanes, the best time to see them is the late morning and afternoon over the weekend and Labor Day as they do their flights in the morning. You can still see them in the morning (when they are on the ground), but you can’t have a cockpit tour until after their morning rides are done.
Visitors who wish to only visit the museum and not go outside to see the aircraft may do so at the normal museum prices (see below).
The address is 9990 Porter Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Parking is free in the lot in front of the museum for this event.
Want to take a ride on one of these historic aircraft? Limited seats are still available! Visit the CAF AirPower History Tour website for more information.
The B-29 Military Giveaway is now closed for entries. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, 8/24, at 12:30 p.m. via Facebook Live.
