Join us at the museum on Saturday, December 10, at 1:00 p.m. for a celebration of the US Lunar Missions. The first humans to orbit the Moon were the crew of Apollo 8 in December of 1968. The last humans to step off the Moon were the crew of Apollo 17 in December of 1972. The Artemis 1 mission will end its journey around the Moon on December 11, 2022, bringing the promise of the next chapter in lunar exploration.
