Lindsey Lauren Visser
Executive Director
Lindsey Lauren Visser is a historian and experienced nonprofit professional, having worked in several of the area’s historical museums. A graduate of the University of Oxford with an MSt in Modern History, she most recently served as the Executive Director of the Italian Cultural Center. Additionally, Lindsey Lauren has been a writer and contributing historian for The Buffalo History Museum Podcast, The New York Minute in History podcast, and has written several exhibits for area museums. Most recently, she was featured on the American History Hit podcast with Travel Channel’s Don Wildman. In addition to her role at the Niagara Aerospace Museum, she serves as the City of Buffalo Historian. As the daughter of a pilot and the sister of an aeronautical engineer, Lindsey Lauren is thrilled to preserve and share the history of an industry that has been so important to her family and to the WNY region.
