The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is nearing completion in Tonawanda, New York. The Bell Helicopter AH-1S Cobra, US Army serial number 67-15690 was mounted today. The helicopter did serve in Vietnam and received battle damage on 19 January 1972. The Niagara Aerospace Museum is proud that we were able to loan the helicopter to ensure the veterans were able complete their mission with this beautiful memorial.
