October 1 is the 73rd anniversary of Americas first Jet Fighter, the Bell P-59A. Bell’s chief test pilot Robert M. Stanley took the aircraft up on its first flight becoming America’s first jet pilot. Come to the museum and see historic artifacts and a video on the P-59 Airacomet.
